XpoNorth takes place in Inverness, Scotland on the 7th and 8th of June. It’s a creative industries festival taking in music, design, film and literature. This will be our 3rd year attending XpoNorth which just keeps getting bigger and better.

The mixtape spans the entire 14 years of Planet Groucho Records releases featuring: The Kazoo Funk Orchestra, Lindsay Llewellyn - artist, Oak Hero, El Jugador, and The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse.

We’ll also have The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse’s new limited edition 7", some CDs, a few cassettes, scratch cards, and some wares from friends of the Groucho: Spring Break, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 / Yellow Movement.

You’ll find us on the first floor of Eden Court Theatre. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourselves.

And don’t forget, The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse is performing at the pentahotels on Thursday night at 11pm. He doesn’t play live very often, so this is a showcase not to be missed, he’s even built a special one-man-band setup and some kind of hand-holding-audio-emitting-do-dah that he says will teleport the audience through sound.

He will also be doing a short performance for XpoNorth Live on Thursday around 1pm at Eden Court Theatre and a recording session on the The Buzz Project bus parked outside Eden Court Theatre at 9:30am.

Note: The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse was billed as Ramisco’s alter-ego, Ray McCartney, due to a random hiccup.
